Grande Experiences have created, with the assistance of Museo Leonardo da Vinci – Rome, Italy, and a number of Leonardo art history experts in Italy and France, this collection of exhibitions and experiences which brings to life the genius of Leonardo as an inventor, artist, scientist, anatomist, engineer, architect, sculptor and philosopher. Working from Leonardo’s codices, Italian artisans have crafted interactive and life-size machine inventions, faithfully using methods, materials and tools available from Renaissance Italy times. The hands-on interactive machines encourage tactile learning experiences; the interpretive information presents accessible interpretations of the theory and objective behind each of Leonardo’s designs, the history and analysis of Leonardo’s key artworks, and highlights the parallels between Leonardo’s work and modern technology and engineering.
