Overview:
As our extraordinary leader of creativity, you'll be the mastermind behind our mind-boggling immersive experiences, responsible for shaping and driving the creative vision of Grande. Your job is to make sure we continue to set new standards in creativity, technology integration, and audience engagement. You'll be the visionary who brings our stories to life.
You’ll be the creative and strategic force behind content development across the company's immersive experiences around the globe, ensuring that each project aligns with brand, values, and technical excellence.
You’ll bring extensive experience in leading and creating the development and delivery of immersive storytelling experiences, including VR content creation and production. You will oversee a small creative team and collaborate with a global network of partners.
Collaborate with the technical production team to ensure the seamless integration of creative content with state-of-the-art hardware and software.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Leadership:
• Spearhead the creative direction of the team, fostering mind-blowing experiences that will captivate and amaze our visitors.
• Conceptualise a wide array of immersive formats that will push the limits of reality and transport our audience to worlds beyond their wildest dreams.
• Develop and oversee the creative vision for all immersive experiences, with a particular emphasis on shared free-roaming VR.
• Manage the successful addition industry leading immersive technologies, including VR, as part of Grande’s portfolio of experiences and offerings, guaranteeing smooth integration of technology and storytelling that will leave our visitors buzzing.
• Provide strategic input at the executive level, collaborating closely with the CEO and leadership team to align creative initiatives with business objectives.
Content Development & Creative Execution:
• Oversee the entire content pipeline, spanning ideation and conceptualisation to production and execution.
• Develop captivating, audience-centric immersive and VR narratives that utilise fit for purpose technologies to deliver engaging and unforgettable experiences.
• Lead the development of immersive worlds, character-driven storytelling, and interactive elements.
• Ensure that all content adheres to high artistic, technical, and experiential standards.

Team Management and Collaboration:
• Manage and mentor a small creative team, cultivating a culture of innovation and excellence through leadership by example.
• Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with external contractors, creative agencies, VR, XR and AR content developers, and system partners globally.
• Collaborate with the technical production team to ensure the seamless integration of creative content with state-of-the-art hardware and software.
Strategic Development:
• Stay ahead of the curve, keeping a close eye on the latest immersive media and experience trends.
• Work closely with our commercial team to pitch new projects that will wow clients and blow their minds!
Project Management and Oversight:
• Maintain precision level organisational skills to effectively manage multiple deadlines and teams across different time zones. Juggling is crucial and part of the fun!
• Skilfully handle multiple projects, ensuring attention to detail and delivery of high-quality experiences on time and within budget.
• Ensure that our immersive experiences are engaging, accessible, and unforgettable.
Global Collaboration & Travel:
• Engage with international partners, suppliers, and creative collaborators to ensure the successful global deployment of all Grande experiences.
• Travel globally on short notice as needed, to oversee creative development, partnerships, and installations. Adventure awaits!

Desirable Skills & Experience:
• Experience in location-based entertainment and/or museum and exhibition design.
• Knowledge of AI-driven interactive storytelling and advanced haptic technologies.
• Familiarity with projection mapping, AR, and immersive technologies beyond VR.
• Commercial understanding of the immersive projects landscape.
• A deep passion for technology driven storytelling.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Interactive Media, Game Design, Digital Media, Entertainment Technology.
Skills & Experience:
• 10+ years of creative leadership experience in immersive experiences, entertainment, or related fields.
• A proven track record of successfully leading teams and collaborating with creative and technical experts.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively inspire your team and stakeholders with our vision.
• Extensive experience in VR, AR, XR and MR content creation.
• Deep understanding of headset-based experiences, including working with HTC Vive, Oculus/Meta Quest, Pico, Varjo, and other leading VR hardware.
• Strong background in immersive content creation, including spatial computing, haptics, motion tracking, and volumetric capture.
• Expertise in real-time engines (Unreal Engine, Unity) for VR development and interactive storytelling.
• Knowledge of AR integration and MR applications, particularly in location-based entertainment and cultural exhibitions.
• Track record of leading cross-functional creative and technical teams in immersive experience development.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles in immersive environments, ensuring intuitive and engaging user interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale content production and global partnerships.
• Strong communication skills, capable of presenting ideas and influencing stakeholders at an executive level.
