The spectacular Monet In Paris opens in Perth
Grande Experiences is celebrating the opening of Monet in Paris in Perth, Australia, the second stop on the experiences’ tour after a successful season in Brisbane earlier this year.
Monet in Paris is the latest venture in a long and successful partnership with Andrew Kay Management, the team that brought Van Gogh Alive to Australia.
Art meets technology as breathtaking paintings are projected on an enormous scale, magnifying the brushwork of Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, Edgar Degas, Berthe Morisot, Mary Cassatt and many more.
The experience is housed in Le Grand Palais, a 2,500 sqm super-scaled custom-built pavilion structure designed and constructed by experienced theatre, set and lighting creatives to produce the experience of Monet’s Paris and provincial France.
Le Grand Palais takes visitors on a Monet-inspired immersive journey. Visitors wander through a spectacular wildflower garden inspired by Monet’s garden in Giverny, and pose for a photo on Monet’s Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies installation before arriving at the awe-inspiring immersive gallery.
Here, visitors step back in time into the dazzling world of 19th-century Paris, where Monet and the Impressionist masters led an unprecedented period of cultural and artistic flourishing.
The Artist’s Studio invites visitors to flex their artistic muscles and learn how to paint like Monet before a Paris-themed cafe provides refreshments with a French bistro-inspired menu.
